🎉🐾 Hi everyone, I’m Rocky and today is my 7th birthday! 🐾🎉

 

My biggest birthday wish? To find my fur-ever family ❤️

 

I’m a Border Collie/Dachshund/Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Cocker Spaniel mix with a BIG heart and lots of love to give. My favourite things in the world are belly rubs, head scratches, cuddling on the couch, and being close to my humans. I love people SO much.

 

I’m a pretty smart guy too! I know lots of commands, I’m eager to please, and I’ve recently discovered that agility classes are really fun! I love learning new things and having activities that keep my brain busy. I also enjoy walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and showing off what a good boy I am.

 

I’m fully housebroken and working hard on my leash manners. Sometimes I get a little excited when I see large dogs on walks, but my foster family has been helping me learn and improve every day.

 

I should probably tell you something important about me…I get really sad and anxious when my people leave. I love my humans so much that being alone can feel scary for me. Crates make me even more stressed, so I’d really love a home where someone is around most of the time, works from home, or could take me along during the day. I promise I’d make a fantastic coworker and loyal best friend.

 

😩 I gave doggy daycare a try and while it was fun in the beginning, I became too stressed out by all the barking and just wanted to go home to my people.

 

My foster family has been helping me build confidence with short periods alone and yummy peanut butter Kongs, and I’m trying really hard.

 

I’m working on enjoying car rides, but sometimes I get a bit anxious and pant or whine. Once I’m comfortable with you and know that we’re going somewhere fun, I will settle, so I think I’ll be happy to go on car rides with my new family if they start with short rides.

 

What I really want is someone who will love me forever and never give up on me. Once I trust you, I’ll love you with my whole heart ❤️
